Set Plays (set pieces, restarts, dead ball situations,
and all that stuff) are critical for the success of any player or team. The
difference between winning and losing is often the successful execution of Set
Play situations both on offense and defense. In a 20 game season, what if you
could score 5 more goals and concede 5 less goals - a 10 goal spread? Set plays
can be the difference between first and second place, a winning season and a
losing season, champions and runners up.
In some competitions, it has been calculated that as
many as 60% of all goals scored have been from Set Plays...in others, as low as
